Kim Victoria Cattrall born 21 August 1956, is an British Canadian actor from Canada. Most well-known for her character in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO Sex and the City series for which she was nominated for five Emmy Awards and 4 Golden Globe Award, winning the Golden Globe 2002 for the best supporting actor. She reprised the lead role in The Sex and the City (2008 and Sex and the City 2) (2010) films. In the 1980s, she played leading roles in Police Academy Big Trouble Little China Mannequin in addition to Porky's. Kim Cattrall is most often associated with her popular HBO sitcom Sex & the City, where she portrayed Samantha Jones. Cattrall is well-known as an actress who's role as Samantha Jones in the popular TV show Sex & The City was an important turning point for her career. The show not only increased her popularity amongst the national public, but also made an international celebrity, bringing her much fame and recognition. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. The most famous of her roles was portraying the character La Dolce Vita, a comedy-drama. The film that was awarded each of an award, the Golden Palm Award and an Oscar at the 1960 Cannes Film Festival and also was a huge critical and commercial success, was also awarded the Oscar. Before beginning her acting profession it was her job to be a Swedish fashion model. She was crowned the Miss Sweden competition. Following her move into the US she started performing in a variety of films in small roles. The first movie credit she had was in the role of Venusian on Abbott and Costello Go to Mars. The following year she was an unproven newcomer for the film Blood Alley she was awarded the Golden Globe in the most exciting category.
